to Skate classes and/or private
lesson instruction due to it's
affordability and focus
on a variety of skating disciplines.
Adult Synchronized Skating - New synchro sessions will resume in late spring 2012.
The objective of this developmental team will be to expose skaters to the fundamentals of synchronized skating, including blocks and intersections, wheels and circles with the initial goal of performing an in-house exhibition and an ultimate goal of participating in a competition!
Power
Stroking Class - This class will be catered to advanced
figure skaters (passed Preliminary Moves and up) looking
to improve their power and edgework through on-ice drills
and endurance training.
Creative
Movement Class - This class will focus on helping skaters
improve their artistry, through movement and expression,
while exploring various musical genres.

skaters.

The Greensboro Ice House is pleased to offer Professional Figure Blade Sharpening by John Carlow, Jr.
All figure blades professionally sharpened including Paramount
Mounting and waterproofing services also available.
Over 35 years experience
Sharpening services performed ONLY
on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
Cost: $15.00
Pay at the rink's front desk for a "John, Jr." sharpening
Fill out "John, Jr." sharpening ticket and staple paid receipt to ticket (skates w/o payment receipt stapled to ticket will not be sharpened)
Skates should be left in coaches' room by 7pm on Tuesdays.
Skates will be sharpened sometime after 8am (approximately) on Wednesdays.
Skates should be picked up by customers
from the coaches' room.
