AdvantEdge - This
45-minute class is a great compliment to traditional
Learn
to Skate classes and/or private
lesson instruction due to it's
affordability and focus
on a variety of skating disciplines.
Power
Stoking Class - This class will be catered to advanced
figure skaters (passed Preliminary Moves and up) looking
to improve their power and edgework through on-ice drills
and endurance training.
Creative
Movement Class - This class will focus on helping skaters
improve their artistry, through movement and expression,
while exploring various musical genres.
Summer
2010 Off Ice Conditioning Class - This
class will focus on increasing the physical fitness of competitive
figure skaters through an off-ice warm-up routine and will
strive to
optimize jump performance through rotational and plyometric
drills.
Skaters will also work landing positions, spirals and other
stretch skills
to improve on ice technique.

Skating Class
Summer
2010 Program Run Through - Skaters will have a solo
slot to “run through” their program each
week on Thursdays.
Basic
Skills Synchronized Skating Class - The purpose of
Synchro 1-4 is to introduce Basic Skills students to the
fundamental skills of synchronized skating. Skaters will
incorporate maneuvers taken from the Basic 1-8 levels,
execute those skills in team formation ~ which will strengthen
and improve overall skating ability ~ as well as add the
excitement, camaraderie and fun of skating in unison with
friends!

All figure blades professionally sharpened including Paramount
Mounting and waterproofing services also available.

Cost: $15.00
Pay at the rink's front desk for a "John, Jr." sharpening
Fill out "John, Jr." sharpening ticket and staple paid receipt to ticket (skates w/o payment receipt stapled to ticket will not be sharpened)
Skates must be left in coaches' room by 10am on Tuesdays
Skates will be sharpened sometime between the hours of 10am and 3pm (approximately) on Tuesdays as volume dictates |
